About Us
The Malaysia Rafting Association (MRA), established in 2020 under the Sports Development Act 1997 (Act 576), is dedicated to raising public awareness about the sport of rafting. Beyond merely organizing events, the MRA provides comprehensive rafting education, encompassing team training, water safety, professional certification and practical experience. The MRA actively collaborates with the International Rafting Federation (IRF) as part of efforts to get rafting recognized as an Olympic sport.
